One of my Grandpa Jones' favorite hymns was FROM EVERY STORMY WIND!

The last verse reads, 

AH THERE ON EAGLE WINGS WE SOAR

AND SIN AND SENSE MOLEST NO MORE

AND HEAV'N COMES DOWN OUR SOULS TO GREET

WHILE GLORY CROWNS THE MERCY SEAT!

Think of that...

At the MERCY SEAT, in the PRESENCE of the LORD HIMSELF,

We soar on Eagle's wings...

We are free from the fear and torment of sin

We are delivered from the drag and drive of physical senses,

We are ushered into the presence of God Himself

And

OH THE GLORY OF HIS PRESENCE dwells in and on and through us!

And the third verse brings comfort to those of us who are separated from one another,

THO SUNDERED FAR, BY FAITH THEY MEET,

AROUND THE COMMON MERCY SEAT!

I'm praying for you.  You're praying for me.  And at this moment we can meet around the MERCY SEAT!  Hallelujah!  Praise the Lord!  Glory to His Name!
